Indian government launches ASH TRACK mobile app for Fly Ash management.
A mobile application called “ASH TARCK” was launched by Minister of State of Power and New & Renewable Energy R.K. Singh in New Delhi. This platform allows effective monitoring of fly ash productions on thermal plants by providing interface between thermal power plants and potential users.
The ASH TRACK App manages ~200 million tones of fly ash by tracking coal-based power plants situated within 300 km from given location. It also shows availability of fly ash, along with prospective users within the same radius.
Details of contact person are displayed in the app and an SMS will be sent to the applicant and the respective power plant instantly.
As for power plants — they can see the location of prospective ash users surrounding the power plant. If needed, they can contact prospective users for supply of ash too.
Users can download the Ash track mobile app from Google Play Store for Android OS or from App Store for Apple OS.
Overall, this app will allow effective monitoring and reviewing of fly ash production to increase its utilization.
